What's New In This Release
Infor CRM Web Client contains the following updates:
Version 8.3.0.06
- The ability to look for potential matching records when adding a new account.
- When moving a contact there is a new option to assign all items to the same contact.
- Showing groups has been replaced by group Favorites. Favorites allow you to determine which groups you want to display as tabs on list and detail views. Your administrator determines the maximum number of tabs that can display. All standard groups will be marked as Favorites by default.
Newly created groups are automatically marked as Favorites. Favorites display as tabs in alphabetical order up to the limit allowed. You can use the Groups list to manage your Favorites.
- Export to File and Export to Excel have been combined and renamed Export in Common Tasks and from the right-click menu.
- Changes to Export to improve performance, including a limit to the number of records to be exported and the ability to turn off exporting pivot tables to Microsoft Excel. These options are set by your administrator.
This limit does not apply to any other features that support the selection of multiple records, only export.
- Sales Intelligence includes the ability to view the likelihood that a contact or account will make a purchase and provides a Recommendations tab that recommends products the contact or account is likely to purchase in the next 30 days.
- CPQ configurator now supports the promotion of SalesOrders when products are integrated with the ERP-LN.
- Updates for administrators and those with appropriate role access:
- Steps for configuring Sales Intelligence, including the displaying the purchase likelihood score options.
- New Custom Settings list view and Custom Settings detail view to manage group export settings, CreatePivot and MaxExportRecords.
- There is a new Office Profile Groups tab that allows you to set a limit for the number of groups that can display as tabs on list and detail views. All standard groups will be marked as Favorites by default.
- There is a new common task on the Group Manager view to determine which groups will be marked as Favorites by default for new users.

- Infor Configure Price Quote (CPQ) is now integrated with Sales Orders, Quotes, and Opportunities in the Web Client. CPQ provides Web Client users with an image-driven interface for building out customer requirements
- Outlook Sync and the Outlook Integration features that were previously included with Desktop Integration have been moved to Infor CRM Xbar for Microsoft Outlook.
- New user options
- Ability to enable the Username/Time Stamp button to add your name, the date, and time (according to your language settings) to memo boxes on which your administrator has turned on this feature
- Ability to set customer service user options
- Improved quote and sales order processes have separated quotes from sales orders
- Ability to add a quote or sales order from an opportunity, including any products
- Ability to add and manage quotes, including converting a quote to a sales order or generating a proposal
- New Quotes tab on the Account and Opportunity detail views
- Back Office integration is now available within the base product, including:
- Bi-directional synchronization of quotes and sales orders
- Inbound and outbound processors can now support custom country codes
- Notes/History, Activities and Ticket Activities tabs preview panel now displays up to 256 characters below the record instead of in a separate panel as in previous releases. The Show/Hide Preview button allows the user to show or hide the preview data with one click

The user defined detail view middle section is now responsive to the number of records available to display. The grid displays a maximum number of rows and provides a way to scroll to view more
