Reassigning the Account Manager or Account Owner
You can use the Bulk Action Update dialog box to change the account manager or account owner for one or more accounts, for example after importing records.

To update one or more records
- Open the Accounts list view.
- View the group or lookup results that contain the records you want to update.
- To update the account manager or owner for imported accounts, use Query Builder to create a group with ACCOUNT.IMPORTSOURCE equal to or starting with the name of the import file.
- Select
one or more records. To select more than one record, hold down [Ctrl]
or [Shift], and highlight the records.
If you do not select any records, you will be asked if all records in the group should be used. If you click Yes, all group records will be selected.
- In the Task Pane, click Update.
- To update the account manager only,
- Click the drop-down arrow and select Account Manager.
- In the To box, click the button and use the lookup to find a new account manager.
- To update the owner only,
- Click the drop-down arrow and select Owner.
- In the To box, click the button and use the lookup to find a new owner.
- To update the account manager and owner

Click OK.
If records were not updated due to security reasons, you will be prompted with a message to click the link to see a group of records that could not be updated.
