Managing Contour Places

The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. |
Use this view to enter information that you want to be available to all users when adding tickets.
Add a Place
- On the New menu, click Place.

In the Name box type the name of the place you are adding.
For example, a hotel, restaurant, or airport. - In the Address box type the street number and name.
- Complete the City, State, Postal Code, and Country boxes.
- Click .
Edit a Place
- On the Navigation Bar, click Places to open the Places List view. If necessary, use the Lookup to locate a place, and then click the place Name.
- If necessary, change the information boxes.
- Click .
Delete a Place
- On the Navigation Bar, click Places to open the Place List view. If necessary, use the Lookup to locate a problem, and then click on the place Name.
- On the Place Detail view, click the button.
- Click OK.
Share a place
- On the Navigation Bar, click Places to open the Places List view. If necessary, use the Lookup to locate the place you want to share, and then click the place Name.
- On the Place Detail view, click the button.
Once a place has been shared” all users have access to the place and you will not be able to edit or delete the place unless you have the required permissions.
