Adding a Defect Activity Rate

The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

Use the Insert Defect Activity Rate view to add a rate for a defect activity type.

To add a defect activity rate

1. Do one of the following:

   • On the New menu, click Defect Activity Rate.
   • On the Navigation bar, expand Support, right-click Defect Activity Rates from the shortcut menu, and then click New Defect Activity Rate.
2. In the Insert Defect Activity Rate view, in the Type box, type a one- or two-word name for the pricing rate.
3. In the Description box, type a short description for the rate.
4. In the Rate / Hour box, type a rate per hour for the activity type.
5. Click Save.
