Editing Relationships
Use the Edit Relationship view to edit an existing relationship. Relationships establish a one-to-many or many-to-one relationship between two entities, a parent and a child.
The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.
To edit a relationships
- Select the appropriate entity from the Entity Manager list.
- In the Relationships tab in the lower pane, select a relationship and click .
- Make your changes.
- Include child relationship property in the parent entity - Select if you want the child entity to be listed as a Child Property of the parent entity.
- Display - The display name of the parent entity.
- Import - Select if you want the related entity to be imported when the related entity is imported.
Selecting Import will allow the entity to be imported when the related entity is imported, but only if the Import option is selected at the entity level for both the parent and child entities. - Match - Indicates whether or not the parent entity should be used as match criteria for an import of the child entity.
- Audited - Indicates whether or not changes are being tracked for the field.
- Relationship - Select the type relationship, one-to-many (1:M) or many-to-one (M:1), between the two entities.
- Include parent relationship property in the entity - - Select if you want the parent entity to be listed as a Parent Property of the child entity.
- Display - The display name of the child entity.
- Import - Select if you want the related entity to be imported when the related entity is imported.
