What Are Contact Processes?

A process is a series of tasks that are executed in a specific sequence over a period of time. Use Contact Processes to automate repetitive tasks and provide a consistent, automated way of following up with customers. Contact Processes are created using the Architect.

You attach processes to contacts. Each task in a process launches at the completion of the task preceding it unless a time lapse has been scheduled. Attaching a process to a contact does not automatically start the process. Processes must be started in the Infor CRM Network Client or Infor CRM Remote Client applications.

Use the Infor CRM Web Contact Process Manager to view or change the status of the processes assigned to your contacts. Any further changes to processes must be done in the Infor CRM Network Client or Infor CRM Remote Client. Use the Processes tab in the Contact Detail view to view processes attached to a single contact.

Your security access determines what functions are available. Contact your administrator for any access rights changes. WebViewer users may not access full functionality.
