Updating Multiple Opportunities

You can update multiple opportunities at once using the Bulk Action Update dialog box.

To update multiple opportunities

  1. On the Navigation Bar, click Opportunities.
  2. Open the group that contains the opportunities that you want to update.
  3. Select one or more records. To select more than one record, hold down [Ctrl] or [Shift], and highlight the records.
  4. In the Task Pane, click Update
  5. In the Bulk Action Update dialog box, click the drop-down arrow and select the information you want to update.
  6. Complete the remaining boxes to define the updated value.
    The remaining boxes depend upon the information you are updating.

    Infor CRM is highly customizable. The options available to update may be different.
    • Add to Forecast - Select Yes to include opportunities in forecasting reports, or select No to exclude opportunities from forecasting reports.

    • Close Probability - In the To: box, type the number that represents the likelihood that a sale will close.
      For example, if there is an 80% chance that an opportunity will close, type 80.
    • Estimated Close - Do one of the following:

      • To move the estimated close date to a specific date, select the To: option, click the CalendarClosed button, select a new date, and then click OK.
      • To move the estimated close date forward a certain number of days, click the Move option, select Forward from the drop-down list, and then enter the number of days you want to move the date forward.
      • To move the estimated close date backwards a certain number of days, select the Move option, select Backward from the drop-down list, and then enter the number of days you want to move the date backwards.
    • Notes - Type your notes in the To: box.
    • Type - Click the Todrop-down arrow and select from the list.
    • Account Manager - Click the To: FindClosed button, select a new account manager from the list, and then click OK.
    • Divisional Manager - Click the To: FindClosed button, select a new manager from the list, and then click OK.
    • Owner - Click the To: FindClosed button, select a new owner from the list, and then click OK.
    • Regional Manager - Click the To: FindClosed button, select a new manager from the list, and then click OK.
  7. To add another property, click the Add PropertyClosed button and repeat steps 5-7 until you have selected and defined all of the information you want to update.
  8. Click OK.
