Assigning Secured Actions to a Role

Secured actions secure a user interface elements. Once a secured action is applied to a user interface element, only users who are assigned a role that includes the secured action can see and use the element. You can assign one or more secured actions to a role.

To assign

  1. Open the Secured Actions List view.
  2. Select the secured actions that you want to assign to a role.
  3. In the Secured Action Tasks pane, click Add to Role.
  4. In the Select Role dialog box, click the click the FindClosed button, use the lookup to find and select the desired role, and click OK.
  5. Click OK.
