Using Barcode IDs

Use this maintenance form to create a unique Barcode Identifier. The newly created record represents the generic type of barcode that is supported.
Note: 
  • A Scan Format ID must be integrated to the Barcode ID.
  • A single Scan Format ID can be integrated with different Barcode IDs.

To create a new record, on the Barcode ID form:

  1. Open the Barcode ID form.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Barcode ID
    The unique Barcode identifier.
    Description
    A description of the Barcode ID to be created.
    Scan Format ID
    Select the value for the Scan Format IDs .
  4. Click Save.
