Proposed purchase orders

Through the Proposed Purchase Order module, customers and suppliers can negotiate terms of an order before it becomes a discrete purchase order (discrete PO). Negotiation is limited to discrete POs. Discrete POs undergoing negotiation, known as proposed purchase orders (proposed POs), are stored separately from discrete POs, but are associated with the resulting discrete PO.

• You can define more than one 'Deliver To' address for a specific 'Ship to' address on the Maintain Deliver To page in the Application Setup module.

For a specific proposed purchase orders, you can specify the name of the customer contact (planner) associated with the order.
