Using Stop-Start on the Realtime Transaction Entry (Touch Screen Form)

This process enables employees to stop running jobs or work sets and start the next job or work st in the same way.

After the successful employee validation, the employee is on a running job or work set and the job information is displayed along with the Stop-Start Icon, Start Icon and Stop Icon.

  1. To stop a single job without starting a new job enter quantity completed information and select Stop Job.
  2. To stop a work set without starting a new work set there are 2 alternative:
    • Stop entire worsket by selecting Stop Work Set.
    • Use the Remove Icon to remove one job at a time.
  3. To Stop-Start a single job select the Stop-Start Icon, enter new job information and select Stop-Start.
  4. To Stop-Start a work set without reporting quantities, select the Stop-Start button, enter and add new work set information then select Stop-Start.
    Note: 
    • The work set quantity reporting process stops the work set when the last job is removed. As a result the Stop-Start process is not applicable when quantities are reported on all jobs in the running work set.
    • The Work Set tab displays the jobs in the running work set. The Adding tab displays the jobs added to the new work set.
    • Transaction quantities are posted during the Stop-Start process.
  5. Click Back to display the running job information on the Real Time Transaction Entry form.
    Note: 
    • If the employee clicks Back before starting the workset, the loaded records are retained on the form.
    • If the employee clicks Back or exits the form for a workset, with no records, the next workset header is deleted.
  6. To remove a job prior to starting the workset, click record checkbox on the Workset tab. To remove a job from a work set on the Adding tab, click record checkbox on the Adding tab then select Remove Job. This feature is enabled in the RealTimeTransactionEntry.ts Start form and the Stop Start forms.
