About Distribute Tank Outflow
redistributes the total outflow of selected tank batches of the same process step. By distributing the outflow, you ensure that your tanks are occupied for the shortest possible time. The number of batches, the quantity and the quantity of inflow from the batches, do not change. The batch codes and remarks also remain unchanged. After the outflow has been distributed, the tank batches are reallocated. To facilitate this, non-selected batches are also reallocated and the sequence is changed.
You can use this menu command on a selection of tank batches with different process steps simultaneously. This function can only be used if it does not matter how many processes have simultaneous inflow and outflow into and from a tank. A lack of connections on a tank or its maximum outflow capacity can form such a restriction. Any existing flow constraints as defined on the process step are taken into consideration. This is accessed from the menu.
