About Earliest Start and Latest End
Earliest Start places selected process batches on their earliest start. For batches in the end product stage, the earliest start is determined by the order. In the coupled stages, the earliest start is determined by the inflow batches. Batches without an earliest start and locked batches are not moved.
Latest End places selected process batches on their latest end. The latest end of a process batch is the latest point in time at which the batch can start in order to ensure that it will still be ready for the following coupled batches. For batches in an end product stage, latest end is order-dependent. In coupled stages, latest end is determined by the outflow batches. Batches without a latest end and locked batches are not affected.
