Inventory Menu

The Inventory menu lists the options used for managing the inventory. These options are used to provide input to the objects displayed in the Inventory Simulation graph.

The Inventory menu contains these commands:

• Inventory Points: Displays the Products - Inventory Points overview window.
• Select Search : Includes the sub-menus that are defined as 'inventory search' in the Search products window. If you select a search from this sub-menu, the list of products in the Inventory window of the planning board is updated.
• Search: Displays the Search products window where in you can manage the product search and the inventory point search.
• Batch Selection: Displays the inventory simulation of inventory points for the selected batches on the planning board. For the selected batches, this option enables you to view:
  • The decoupled inflow products
  • The outflow products
  • The By-products
  • The decoupled main products
  • All the products associated with the selected batches
• Find Shortage: Allows you to search in the current active set, all the inventory points within the work area for which the bottom level is below the standard or the minimum level. The inventory points with a shortage are displayed in the graph.
• Find Overflow: Allows you to search in the current set, all inventory points within the work area for which the top level is above the maximum. The inventory points with an overflow are displayed in the graph.
• Replenish: Allows you to run backward planning that creates batches to replenish inventory points to the standard inventory level. This option is also applicable to products with a cover period and an inventory interval.
• Deplete: Allows you to run forward planning that creates batches in a depletion stage to deplete inventory points to standard inventory level. This option is used for the further processing or depletion of by-products.
• Show: Allows you to activate the products you select from the inventory points list, on the planning board.
• Hide: Allows you to deactivate the products you select from inventory points list, on the planning board.
