About Downtime

Downtime on a resource is the total duration of time within the work area taken up by maintenance and other irregular interruptions. Downtime is represented by simplified batches. If batches overlap with downtime, this is signaled in the planning board and with check schedule. Schedule Process Batches considers downtime. Downtime can be assigned a status and is locked by default.

Note:  It is best to create separate downtime for each resource, rather than attempting to combine process and tank downtime here.

The example here shows a downtime batch, for maintenance, in the planning board, next to a normal process batch. As with other batches, you can specify the data to be displayed with the batch on the planning board when creating a view.
