Customer Order Lines

The customer order line/release is a detailed listing associated with the customer order header record, which describes any item sold to a customer. Multiple lines/releases may be associated with a customer order header.

If this customer is on credit hold, a problem indicator is displayed at the top of the form. If this customer is not on credit hold, a check mark is displayed.

You cannot cross-reference a customer order line if the customer order is on credit hold. However, if the customer order line is cross-referenced before the customer order is placed on credit hold, the reference information is maintained.

If either the Customer Order Credit Hold field or the Customer Credit Hold field is selected, the system does not let you ship customer orders.

If the Limit Exceeded Credit Hold Reason field, however, is blank, and you create or update a customer order or a customer order line when the customer's (or corporate customer's, if applicable) credit limit is exceeded, the system does not place the customer order on credit hold and does not prevent you from shipping the order.

In the EU VAT tab, the fields are used by the European Union (EU). If the Activate EU Reporting field on the General Parameters form is not selected, this tab (or some fields on this tab) is disabled.

When a line/release item quantity is changed and saved, the Unit Price field is not updated to reflect any change to the unit price in the Items form.

For example, on June 15, a customer orders five items at $20.00/item. On June 16, the Items Unit Price changes to $22.00. If on June 17, the CO is updated to six items, the items remain priced at $20.00/item (according to the CO).

If the Qty Ordered field is changed, the Allocated to Customer Orders field on the Items form is adjusted.

The Actions menu includes these options:

  • Options to filter the data to show only lines where the due date is 7, 14 or 30 days in the future.
  • An option to show only lines where the due date is any number of days past due.
  • Use List Configuration to list selections made with the Features and Options configurator of CloudSuite Industrial.
  • Use List Configuration Values to display the configuration date, status, and model name, along with components and attributes for the configuration. This option is used with Infor CPQ Configurator.
  • Use Remove Config Hold to indicate that the configuration for an order line is no longer on hold. This option is enabled only when the Config Hold check box is selected for the order line.
  • Use Go to Demand Detail Chart APS to open the Demand Detail Chart APS form. This option displays a graphical representation of how the system uses supplies, on-hand inventory, and resource capacity to satisfy the order line demand at each level of the bill of material.
  • Use the Post Configuration Status utility to process those post configuration records with a status of not completed.
  • Additional options on the menu display various other self-explanatory lists.
