Configuring Contour Integration

Complete the following tasks to configure the Contour integration. Once configured, you can run the Geocode Addresses job to update contact, account, and user addresses with geocode information to be used by the configured geocode provider.

  1. Run the SLXConversionUtility.exe.
    This needs to be done only once to support all integrations.
  2. Configure Infor CRM SData synchronization.
    This needs to be done only once to support all integrations.
  3. On the Integrations List view, select Contour.
  4. Select the Enabled check box.
  5. Click SaveClosed.
  6. Click the Provider tab.
  7. On the Provider tab, select Enabled check box for the provider you want to use.

    Only one provider can be enabled at a time. You must first clear the Enabled option from the previous provider before you can enable another provider.

  8. Do one of the following:
  9. Click in the API Key column for the selected provider and type or paste the API Key obtained in the previous step.
  10. Click SaveClosed
  11. If your Geocode provider is Google and your Web Host is located in China, you must set the Use Google China options.
    This option is required in order for the Job Manager jobs associated with Contour Proximity Search with Google Maps to function correctly.
    1. Click the Options tab.
    2. In the Use Google China row, click in the Value column and type True.
    3. Click SaveClosed.
  12. Grant the appropriate access:

    1. To grant users access to all of the Contour features, assign users to the Contour role.
    2. To grant users access to specific features, assign the following secured actions to an existing role or create a new role:
      • Contour/Map/Menu - Controls access to the Tools menu, Contour Distance Search menu item.
      • Contour/Map/Account - Controls access to the Tools menu, Contour Distance Search, Accounts menu item.
      • Contour/Map/Contact - Controls access to the Tools menu, Contour Distance Search, Contacts menu item.
      • Contour/Map/Group - Controls access to the Show on Map common task found on the Contact and Account list and detail views.
      • Entities/Place/Add - Controls whether a user can add new unshared places.
      • Entities/Place/Edit - Controls whether a user can edit unshared places.
      • Entities/Place/Delete - Controls whether a user can delete unshared places.
      • Entities/Place/Share - Controls whether a user can share their personal places.
      • Entities/Place/ShareEdit - Controls whether a user can edit a shared place.
      • Entities/Place/ShareDelete - Controls whether a user can delete a shared place.
      • Entities/Place/View - Controls whether a user has access to Place views.
  13. If Google is your Geocode provider and any of your users access the Infor CRM Web Client from within China, you must instruct them to set the Use Google China option on the Tools menu, Options, User Profile tab.
    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
    2. Click the User Profile tab.
    3. Select the Use Google China option.
    4. Click SaveClosed.
      This option should only be selected when the Infor CRM Web Client is accessed from within China. It should be cleared when the Infor CRM Web Client is accessed from any other location.
