About the Dashboard

To display the Dashboard, select File > Dashboard. The Dashboard is displayed below the Planning Board. If the Dashboard is displayed when you exit Infor Production Scheduling, then it is automatically displayed when you restart Infor Production Scheduling.

The Dashboard displays Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). For example, you can use KPIs to keep track of downtime on resources.

The Dashboard shows the KPI names and their values per week. The current schedule's KPIs are compared with a baseline. When you open the dashboard, a baseline is automatically created as a snapshot. You can manually create snapshots.

About the KPIs

These examples describe KPIs:

  • Production cost: this value is calculated from the settings that are defined in the Resource Groups tab of the Process Step Entry dialog box.
  • Production time: if the value has decreased since the last snapshot, then the difference is displayed in green. If the value has increased since the last snapshot, then the difference is displayed in red.
  • Two KPIs can help you detecting issues or conflicts:
    • Resource conflicts
    • Late orders

These background colors are displayed for the "late orders" KPI:

      Color Description
      Red High alert
      Yellow Medium alert
      Green No alert

You can define alert boundaries for late orders. See Configuring the Dashboard.

Using the Dashboard Buttons

These buttons are displayed at the bottom of the Dashboard:

  • Click Collapse all to collapse all nodes and hide the KPIs.
  • Click Expand all to expand all nodes and show the KPIs.
  • Click Snapshot to create a new snapshot. This snapshot replaces the previous snapshot.
  • Click Revert to discard the changes to the schedule since the last snapshot.
  • Click Settings to configure the Dashboard. You can select the KPIs that you want to display, global display settings and alerts for late orders.
