About Messages

The Messages dialog box displays information, warning, and error messages.

For example, if you perform one of these actions, a message can be displayed:

• You select Schedule > Check schedule.
• You select Products > Check model.
• You select Schedule > Run Solver.
• You try to delete an element that cannot be deleted.
• You run interfaces or macros, you join batches or you run the solver and you have selected the with messages check box.

The left pane shows the message summary. The right pane shows the message detail.

The message detail provides information on how you can solve the identified problems.

An icon displays the message type:

Icon	Description
	Information
	Warning
	Error

In the left pane, you can perform these actions:

• To show a message's detail in the right pane, click the message.
• To save, print, copy, or delete a message, select it and click the appropriate button at the top of the dialog box.
  Note:  When you close Infor Production Scheduling, messages are not automatically saved.
• To delete all messages, click the Delete All button at the top of the dialog box.
• You can select the message level that you want to view:
  • To display only error messages, click .
  • To display error and warning messages, click .
  • To display all messages, click .

In the right pane, you can select the detail type that you want to view:

• To display error details, click .
• To display warning details, click .
• To display information details, click .
