Configuring ION Workflows

The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?

Note: 
  • The name of the workflow in Infor CloudSuite CRM must match the name of the workflow defined in ION Desk.
  • The name of the workflow field mappings in Infor CloudSuite CRM must match the name of the workflow attribute in ION Desk.
  • The workflow name and the corresponding attribute names are case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.
  1. Define additional entities, for ION Workflow, if required, in the Application Architect. See the Application Architect Help topic " Exposing Entities, Properties, and Relationships to CRM Workflows" for detailed steps. .
    Note: A portal build and deployment is required when additional entities, relationships or properties are defined in the entity model.
  2. Log on to the Infor CloudSuite CRM Web Client as an administrator..
  3. Select ION Workflow on the Integrations List view. See Using the Integrations List View
  4. Verify that the Enabled check box is selected. Clear the Enabled check box to disable the CRM Workflow,
  5. Click (Save).
  6. Create and define an ION Workflow. See Integration Workflows Tab
  7. Add workflow mappings. See The ION Workflow Field Mappings tab
  8. Log on to Ming.le with the appropriate roles to access ION Desk to define and enable the corresponding Infor OS based workflow. For more information see the Workflow chapter of the “Infor ION Desk User Guide” .
