Creating reports from the Cubes and Data Areas dialog

To create an Alea Ad-hoc report from the Cubes and Data Areas dialog:

  1. Click Cubes in the Database group on the ribbon.
    The Cubes and Data Areas dialog is displayed. It lists the cubes and data areas to which you have access.

  2. Double-click the cube or data area on which to base the report.
    The default view of the cube is displayed. The default view in an Alea Ad-hoc report is different from the default view displayed in an Ad-hoc report and is unaffected by specifying a default Ad-hoc report.
    Note: If you double-click a cube in the Database Structure, an Ad-hoc report is created, not an Alea Ad-hoc report.
