Ship from locations
Every location from which shipments are sent must be added as a Ship From record. During registration, one Ship From record is created. Each additional location must be manually added.
- Transit Times
A Ship From record contains address information and default transit times for shipments between the Ship From and the customer's Ship To (shipping destinations). The transit times can be entered when creating the Ship From record or as shippers are created.
When creating a shipper, if the Ship From - Ship To combination does not yet have a transit time established, the transit time is calculated based on the expected arrival date and the creation date. That transit time is stored in the Ship From record as the default. Default transit times can be modified only in the Ship From record.

Associations
If shipping from multiple shipping origins (Ship Froms), suppliers can optionally create default Ship Froms per demand item. The default is established in the Assign Ship Froms component. If the associations are created, during shipper creation only demand associated to the selected Ship From or that does not yet have a Ship From association can be added to the shipper. Throughout the application, when filtering by Ship From, the default Ship From is used.
Select to work with ship from locations. To add a default transit time to the Ship From record, you must first create it and then edit it.
