Metrics components

Before setting up how suppliers will be scored for various metrics, you must first select the categories, tests, and ratings to be included in the metric reports. You are automatically setup with every category, test, and rating turned on. If you plan to include custom tests in the metric reports, you must add custom metric categories.

Components exist at various levels:

  • Overall Score. You determine which ratings (i.e. Excellent, Good, etc.) will be used in reports for the overall rating.
  • Categories. You determine which categories will be used in reports. Within the category, you determine which ratings will be available for the category's overall rating.
  • Tests. Within the categories, you determine which tests will be used in reports. For each test, you determine which ratings will be available to rate the test.

Select Metrics > Set Up Metrics Components to apply default rating selections to all categories and tests, turn on or off components, and add/update custom metric tests.
