Adding a Ticket Rate

Use the Insert Ticket Activity Rate view to add a rate for a ticket activity type.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

To add a ticket rate:

  1. Perform one of these actions:
    • On the New menu, click Ticket Activity Rate.
    • On the Navigation Bar, expand Service, right-click Ticket Activity Rate and from the shortcut menu, click New Ticket Activity Rate.
  2. In the Insert Ticket Activity Rate dialog box, specify this information: in the Type field, specify a one- or two-word name for the pricing rate.
    Type
    The name of the pricing rate.
    Description
    A short description for the rate.
    Rate / Hour
    A rate per hour for the activity type.
  3. Click (Save).
