Container List page: Miscellaneous Containers

Use the Container List page to define miscellaneous container information of the shipper line. To define miscellaneous container information for master, detail and loose containers:

  • Click Add/Edit in the Master additional packaging list table.
  • Click Add/Edit in the Loose Container additional packaging list table.
  • Click Add/Edit in the Detail additional packaging information table.
Facility
The name of the destination that is issuing a demand.
Ship To
The name of the destination to which the parts are shipped.
Shipper No.
The unique number to identify the shipper. You cannot modify the number after the shipper is created.
Ship Date
The date the shipment will be sent. Defaults to the current computer system date.
Customer Part Number
The part number as defined by the customer.
Quantity Shipped
Indicates the amount shipped to the customer and the unit of measurement.
U of M
The unit of measure for the ordered quantity; for example, by individual unit, hundreds, thousands, foot, yards, gallons, pair so on. The commonly used abbreviations for the various unit of measure are EA (each), PC (piece), HU (hundreds), and TH (thousands).
Container Code
Code for the container. Typically an alphanumeric AIAG standard description where the first three characters are letters defining the type of container and the last two characters are numbers defining the container material. For example, BOX25 indicates that the container is a box made of corrugated or solid cardboard.
Tare Weight
The weight of the container when empty.
Include in Advance Shipping Notice
If this check box is selected, the miscellaneous container data is included in the Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN).
Include in Printing Documents
If this check box is selected, the miscellaneous container data is included in the shipping documents you print.
Include in Barcode label
If this check box is selected, the master container data is included on the Barcode label.

This is a display field. The value is defaulted from the packaging data defined in the Setup module. You can use the Add or Edit option in the Master Container List table to change the values.

This field displays only when the label data is defined in the Setup module.
