About Time Periods
Time periods are blocks of time for specific activities, duration and recurrence intervals with fixed recurrence. They are comparable to shifts. A time period shows temporal patterns in production capacity linked to claims on resources enabling resources or utilities. It is defined for a specific purpose, duration (or validity period) and recurrence interval. Time periods can be combined into timetables. The time periods overview window shows the time periods, key attributes and the color for the time period that is displayed on the planning board.
