Contact Synchronization Scenarios for Microsoft Outlook
The following scenarios are commonly encountered and help you understand how contact synchronization with Microsoft Outlook works.

The record is added to the Infor CRM contact sync group and the data synchronizes whenever a synchronization cycle runs. Scenario 1: If no company name is associated with the contact, an account is created using the contact name, for example, "Firstname<space> Lastname". Note: If the company name is edited after the initial synchronization cycle the change is not synchronized to Infor CRM. Scenario 2: If a company name is an EXACT match of an account in Infor CRM, the new contact is linked to the matching account. |
