Using the Defect Detail View

Use the Detail view to see, add, or edit information for a selected record. The Detail view consists of information boxes, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.

You can copy information from an existing defect to create a new one. If you use the Copy button, Infor CRM copies information from the original record.

Note: The security access determines what functions are available. Contact the administrator for any access rights changes. WebViewer users may not access full functionality.

To open the Defect Detail view, on the Navigation Bar, click Defects to open the Defect List view. If required, use the Lookup to locate a defect, and then click the Defect ID.

To switch to the List view, on the toolbar click (List View), or click the current group tab.

On the Task Pane, in the Common Tasks, you can perform these actions:

Information Fields

The defect information fields contain the primary information about the defect. Users with appropriate permissions can edit these boxes.

Detail View Tabs

Each tab shows specific information you can use for defect related activities. The tabs available are:

User Defined Section

You can drag and drop tabs into the user defined middle section. The tab must remain there until it is moved back to the lower section.
