Starting Application Studio

To start Application Studio:

  1. Select Start > All Programs > Infor Business Intelligence > Application Studio.
    If the password was not saved during the previous log on, the Log On dialog box is displayed. If the password was saved, Application Studio opens.

    If the password was saved and you must connect to a different repository, project or report catalog, select File > Log Off and then select File > Log On with Options.

  2. Select the authentication system.
    See authentication.
  3. Specify the user name and password.
  4. Optionally, select Save password to log on automatically with the same credentials next time you start Application Studio.
  5. Select the repository.
    The repository contains the metadata for user administration, report catalogs, projects and reports. To display reports, you must connect to a repository.
  6. Select the project and report catalog.
