Creating a blank report

To create a blank report:

  1. Right-click a folder in the Report Catalog.
  2. Select New > Report.
    Note: Alternatively, press Ctrl + N.
  3. Specify the name of the report.
    Note: The name which you specify is automatically copied to the Unique name field. There can be two or more reports with the same name, which are distinguished by their unique names. If a unique name is already in use, a number is automatically added to the unique name to make it unique. The unique name is displayed in the Properties pane. Additionally, reports are assigned a unique ID which is also displayed in the Properties pane

  4. Click OK.
  5. To open the report, double-click it in the Report Catalog.
