Shipment Select Document Type page

Use the Shipment Select Document Type page to select the document to print the shipping document.

Facility
The name of the destination that is issuing a demand.
Ship To
The name of the destination to which the parts are shipped.
Shipper Number
The unique number to identify the shipper. You cannot modify the number after the shipper is created.
Freight
The freight payments terms for the shipment.
AETC
The Authorized Excess Transportation Cost. A code assigned by the customer indicating that shipping costs that exceed contractual terms are permitted for the shipment. If the AETC module is being used, this field cannot be edited.
Vehicle Number
Conveyance bill number, trailer number, or air freight number.
Route Code
The customer-defined name or code to identify the route.
SCAC
The Standard Carrier Alpha Code included in the shipper information. This code represents the carrier as defined by the National Motor Freight Association.
Test or Production
The part status. The purpose of a test is defined by the customer. Possible values:
  • Test. Trial run with no production or shipment of parts required.
  • Production. Parts are produced and shipped.
Remarks
The comments or notes specific to the shipment.
Ship Date & Time
The date on which the shipment is sent. The default value is set to current system date.
Expected Arrival Date & Time
The expected arrival date and time of the shipment at the checkpoint. This is calculated based on updated checkpoint information.
AETC Responsibility
The entity responsible for paying extra shipping costs associated with an AETC request.
Transport
The AIAG standard code that describes the method of transportation (or conveyance).
Dock
The code representing the dock at the shipment destination (Ship To).
Ship From
The location from which the parts are shipped.
Pro Number
The carrier tracking number used to trace shipments.
Document Type
The document type to be selected to print the report.
