Export Scheduler

Use the Export Scheduler to schedule a job that sends out requirements documents (Material Release or Ship Schedule) to a supplier or a group of suppliers. The schedule job runs at the specified date and time of the day. The requirement documents are sent to a supplier or all the suppliers in the supplier group. The format of the document is determined by the document format configured in the Define Document option under Communications.

The Export Scheduler is a separate module and is configured during installation. The installation process prompts for the port number and host name for the scheduler process. The scheduler process, by default, runs every 30 minutes. This value is configurable using the runFrequency property in the scheduler.properties file.
