Trading partners

In addition to XML and CSV, EDIFACT/Odette, X12, and VDA are accepted formats for data transfer to and from Supplier Exchange. Supplier Exchange processes these transactions without the requirement for a third party translator.

You must add at least one trading partner record for each supplier with whom you communicate using EDIFACT, Odette, X12 or VDA file formats. You can also add additional records per facility, Ship To and Document Type (transaction).

To communicate in these formats, the file format in the document profile must be selected appropriately and trading partners details must be added.

Select Communications > Define EDIFACT/X12 to work with trading partner records.
