About End Items

An end item is a way of describing in marketing or distribution terms what in production terms is an end product. End items are generated automatically when you create an end product. You can define extra end items per end product to enable you to assign customer-based codes to one end product that you sell to several customers. This enables the customer to generate orders for his product code without throwing your product codes into disarray.

These tabs are displayed in the End item entry dialog box.

• General tab - This tab contains generic information for end items.
• Custom Fields tab - This tab allows you to edit values for custom fields that you have defined when defining Preferences.
