Using the Normalization functionality

The normalization process can be performed in two ways:

Note: Only the users with the Administrator role can execute this process.

Normalizing using Conversion Utility

Configure the Conversion Utility:

Select the Normalize Base Currency Values to Infor CRM Base Currency to normalize all the currencies to Infor CRM base currency.

Note:

This utility is a part of the installation of the Infor CloudSuite CRM version 8.3 Web Core Update 08 or 9 and cannot be accessed from Infor CloudSuite CRM web client.
This task is irreversible and can be performed only once.
The application sets the Normalize Base Currency Values custom setting to True. However, you can set this option to False through web UI.

If you have already executed this process through conversion utility, the functionality is already enabled:

Enable the Normalize Base Currency values custom setting:
Note: Normalization is executed using the existing exchange rates in Infor CloudSuite CRM.
Select the Exchange Rate Services integration.
Update the exchange rates using the 'Refresh…' option for these entities:
- Opportunities with status Open.
- Quotes with status New.
- Sales orders with status Sales Orders.
