Table of text elements
The table of text elements shows these columns:

Unique Name |
The unique name of a text element is the first column in the table. To show or hide the column, click in the toolbar. By default, the column is shown.You can edit the string in the Unique Name column. When you confirm the changes, the uniqueness of the text element's unique name is assured automatically. The column is refreshed to reflect possible unique name changes in the database whenever you edit a unique name. You can edit only unique names of shared text elements. These text elements are of type General String. Unique names of system text elements cannot be edited, because their unique names are bound to the owning object. |

The text element names are used in the Table of Names and Texts in the Application Studio Hierarchy Designer where you can manage custom hierarchies.
