Toolbar
The toolbar on the Text Elements tab contains these buttons:

Creates a text element that can be used in multiple places and shared by various objects. Shared text elements have the type General String. Object-linked system text elements such as folder names or folder descriptions cannot be created. |

Deletes the selected shared text element of type General String. Text elements that have other types cannot be deleted. |

Shows/hides text elements without translations. |

Opens the Import dialog, to import text elements from a file. You can import these file types: Excel XML (*.xml), CSV (Comma-separated Values) (*.csv), and .Net resource file (*.resx). Before text elements are imported, they are compared with the existing text elements. If no match by text element ID is found, their unique names are compared. If a match is found, the existing text element will be overwritten (its properties and all its translations). Only text elements that neither match by text element ID nor by unique name will be created anew. |

Opens the Export dialog, to export text elements to a file. You can export text elements to these file types: CSV (Comma-separated Values), CSV (TAB-separated Values), Excel XML, and .Net resource file. In the dialog, you can select the languages to export. |

Here you select the visible columns of text elements. Other columns are hidden. To show all language columns of text elements, select | . To show only the language column of the application's current language, select .
