SMI Console page
Use the SMI Console page to define the search criteria.
- Sort Order
- The order in which parts display on the console. Select By Inventory Status or By Part.
- Facility
- Name of the destination issuing demand to which parts are to be sent.
- Ship To
- Name of the shipping destination to which parts are to be sent.
- Supplier
- The company responsible for supplying and shipping the part.
- Planner
- The customer user responsible for maintaining the specific part's
inventory.
When attaching a planner to a part, previously entered planners can be selected from the list. To add a planner, select
and specify the planner's name in the field that displays. - Part
- Part number as established by the customer.
- Inventory Status
- How the on hand quantity compares to the maximum and minimum settings.
- Type
- Whether the part is used in manufacturing (Production) or for operations (Service).
- Status
- An indicator of the part's purpose.
- Consignment. The part is processed and returned.
- Build-out. Model year build out; the part run is nearing its end.
- None. Neither consignment or model year build out.
- Inventory Status
- How the on hand quantity compares to the maximum and minimum
settings.
- Under. Under the minimum.
- Over. Over the maximum.
- Out of Range. Either under or over.
You can view the in-transit quantity and quantity in the staged shippers created for the part.
- Last Updated
- When the inventory or part information was last updated.
- PO
- The purchase order number associated to the requirements.
- Engineering Level
- Customer defined code indicating the required version of the part that is associated to the requirements.
- Unit of Measure
- Unit of Measure. Abbreviation that indicates how the part is ordered; for example, by individual unit, hundreds, thousands, foot, yards, gallons, pair, etc. Common unit of measure abbreviations are EA (each), PC (piece), HU (hundreds), TH (thousands).
- Average Daily Release (ADR)
- The average number of parts required through releases per day.
- Suggested Ship Quantity
- The recommended amount to be shipped based on the customer's selected calculation method.
- Suggested Delivery Date
- When the shipment should be delivered based on the customer's selected delivery days and lead time.
- Model Year
- Code associated with the part that indicates to which run it belongs.
- Type
- Whether the part is used in manufacturing (Production) or for operations (Service).
- Status
- An indicator of the part's purpose.
- Consignment. The part is processed and returned.
- Build-out. Model year build out; the part run is nearing its end.
- None. Neither consignment or model year build out.
