Reset

If using Supplier Exchange to track CUM quantities, the CUM totals can be reset or "zeroed out" by date to accommodate model year change-over. Resetting CUMs cannot be undone.

The reset is flexible to allow CUMs to be reset company-wide or by particular criteria, such as facility or supplier. Additionally, CUMs can be reset by part or by demand key, which can incorporate model year, PO number, and engineering level in the part definition.

When CUMs are reset for a part, the CUM Required and CUM Shipped is set to zero as of the entered date. CUM Shipped is recalculated based on all shipments made since the entered date. All CUM dates are set to the entered date. You must publish a new material release or shipping schedule for that part and Demand key to replace the old line items in the Requirement Information.
