About Interface Groups

Interfaces enable you to import data from, and export data to, other systems, making necessary adjustments (for example, data aggregation/time bucketizing). At the time of execution, for ease of use, Interfaces can be grouped based on the common settings. You can add an Interfaces to the Interface Group. Interface Group allows you to run numerous interfaces and each interface runs in sequential order. The settings on the interface group override the setting specified on the interface.

Note: An interface can be selected more than once.
You can also use the Interface Group window to:
  • Create a new interface group code using the New option. The New Interface Group dialog box is displayed wherein you can specify the Interface Group Code.
  • Delete an existing interface group code using Delete option.
  • Create a duplicate of the existing group code using Duplicate option. The New Interface Group dialog box is displayed wherein you can specify the Interface Group code.
  • Rename the existing interface group using Rename option. The Rename Interface Group dialog box is displayed wherein you can rename the Interface Group Code.
