Item Initialization
Use this utility to manually set starting values for many of the accumulated quantities which are incremented automatically during future processing.
Although this function does not add items to the Items record (you must do that from the Items form), you can update the YTD read-only fields from the Items form. These fields are entered separately from Items because the system posts them automatically. If you enter inaccurate values into these fields, they can corrupt the validity of the cost fields. Information may need to be entered in these fields only when entering historical data for a new item.
If you are using Product Configurator, this utility also allows you to enter the next ID number to be added to an item that is being configured.
The Change Warehouse form is accessible from the menu.
