Financial Statement Definition Columns
Use this form to define the columns of data in your report. This is the second step in defining a financial statement. The first step is creating the definition on the Financial Statement Definition form.
When you add the first column, the starting position calculation takes the unit codes into consideration. Also, the default format is the currency amount format (replacing Zs with > signs).
After a column has been defined, it is displayed in the column browser. In this way, you can browse through all previously defined columns for a specific report ID and not have to redefine columns each time you construct a new financial report.
