Create Customer Receiver

Use this form to manually create a receiver for inspection or disposition by QCS. Depending on the QCS customer parameter settings, the new receiver is based on either the customer order or the item.

Use the Customer Receiver Information form to assign or reassign a customer order to the receiver.

Use one of these options when you create the receiver:

To move the product to be inspected to a QC location, set the From Location to a different value than the To Location.
To leave the product in its current location, set the From Location and the To Location to the same value.

The item stockroom location is used only as a reference. It can be different from the item stockroom location that is recorded when the product is shipped.

Creating a customer receiver is for reference only, it does not record shipment against the customer order.

The From Location and From Lot must already exist.
