Updating Sales Process Stages
You can update the stages in a Sales Process. You can complete a stage even if you have not completed all of the stage steps. You can also change the current stage.
Note: If you skip a stage, the opportunity probability will not
be updated. For the opportunity probability to update automatically, you must
complete the stages in order.
To change the current stage
- From the Opportunity Detail view, click the Sales Process tab. If the tab is not visible, click More Tabs.
- Select a stage in the Stages field. If prompted, click .
To complete a stage
- From the Opportunity Detail view, click the Sales Process tab. If the tab is not visible, click More Tabs.
- Click the
link next
to the list.
The Manage Stages window opens.
- Select the check box in the Completed column to identify the stage you want to complete, and close the window.
