Assigning permissions to folders and reports

To assign permissions on a folder or report:

  1. Right-click a folder or report in the Report Catalog and select Manage Permissions.
  2. In the User Management dialog, click Add role or user and select the users and roles to add and assign the permissions to assign to them.
    Note: Roles and groups that only have inherited permissions, have a gray icon. If other permissions are assigned to a group or a role, the symbol is colored.
