Using bookmarks

You can bookmark the Application Studio WebServices startup URL (for example, http://[server_name]/WebServices/default.aspx) but you cannot bookmark a specific report directly.

However, you can use an Application Studio WebServices direct link to bookmark a report indirectly. Direct link is the method by which Application Studio reports can be embedded in the web pages of other applications. A direct link is a URL to a report on the Application Studio WebServices and so can be used as an Internet shortcut.

To create a direct link, log on to http://[server_name]/WebServices/directlinkmanager.aspx. Or, if you are not familiar with direct link, ask your system administrator to create a direct link for you.
