Using the Export Wizard

With the Export Wizard you can export the current report to pdf, or a report book to multiple pdf files contained in a zip file. The Export Wizard enables you to specify the values of the report parameters and so specify the view of the data to export.

For example, in a report containing two combo boxes containing four years and four products respectively, there are 16 possible combinations of elements - 16 views of the report. By specifying the report parameters and their values you can select which view to export. The value options for each parameter are:

  • Current element. The default. A report is exported for the current element, in combination with the values selected for the other report parameters. If you select Current Element for all parameters, one report is exported.
  • Select element(s). The Select Element dialog is displayed. A report is exported for each element you select, in combination with the values selected for the other report parameters.
  • All elements. A report is exported for all possible combinations of elements.
Note: The Select element(s) and All elements options can result in the export of a large number of reports, which can take a long time and significantly degrade system performance.
