Enabling tabbed browsing

Internet Explorer (version 7+) and Firefox (version 2+) Web browsers allow you to open pages in new windows or in new tabs. If tabbed browsing has been enabled on the server, you can use these functions when opening Application Studio WebServices reports. Right-click a report in the Report Tree and select Open link in a new tab/window.

Note: You cannot log in to Application Studio WebServices in two tabs in the same browser

The toolbars of additional tabs or windows contain only report-specific buttons and the report tree is not displayed. Other buttons (for example, Log off and Print Folder) are displayed in the toolbar of the first tab or parent window.

Note: Reports can be designed so that a selection which you make in one report affects one or more other reports. If the affected reports are displayed in separate tabs or windows, they are not refreshed automatically.

Close unused tabs to free system resources.
