Configuring the security policy for IFS authentication and automatic enrollment

There are some features in User Manager to enable you to configure the integration with Infor Federation Services (IFS).

Prerequisites

For integrations with IFS, ensure the following prerequisites are fulfilled:

  • Windows Identity Foundation must be installed on your SunSystems Web installation. For details, see the SunSystems Installation Guide.
  • SunSystems Security must be enabled for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connections. For details, see the SunSystems Installation Guide.
  • IFS must be installed and working. Refer to the Infor Federation Services - ADFS and IFS Installation Guide, and the Infor Federation Services - Administration Guide in the documentation area of Infor Xtreme.

Security Policy

The Security Policy form allows you to configure User Manager for SunSystems login via Windows authentication, Standard Authentication and IFS authentication for SunSystems Web. To access this form, in User Manager select Settings > Security Policy.

This section describes the tabs on the Security Policy form that relate to IFS.
