Amending business unit association

If a form has been associated with specific business units and these business units do not exist in the database a conformity error is encountered and check out of the form is prohibited. To resolve any such conformity errors, a utility is provided to remove individual associations, or reset the association to All Business Units, and thereby allow the form to be checked out for further amendment and compilation. This utility is called SFLBUConv.exe and is located in the SunSystems root directory.

To change or reset business unit association:

  1. Double-click SFLBUConv.exe within Windows Explorer, to display the SFL Business Unit Converter dialog.
  2. Enter or browse for the path and name of the form to be amended.
    Uwaga: The name of the form defaults to *.sfl to represent all forms in the directory specified. If you do not want to amend all forms in the specified directory, this must be overwritten with the name of the individual .sfl file to be amended, for example IMCDMO-CDSTMO02.SFL.
  3. Click Convert to display the Select Business Units dialog.
  4. Complete one of these steps:
    1. To remove specific business unit association, select the Select Business Units to be deleted from available BU radio button and highlight the business unit to be disassociated in the right hand pane.
    2. To reset the form to All Business Units, select the 'All Business Units radio button.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The SFL Business Unit Converter dialog is redisplayed with a message confirming conversion of the business unit association.
